Ootmarsum, The Netherlands – Up-and-coming talent Marieke Siers is creative, passionate, driven and a versatile and enterprising artist! Her acrylic works, the female portraits, are a reflection on herself. Due to a hair problem, she converts her insecurity into strength on the canvas. The hairpiece of the female portraits is an eye-catcher!
She uses a wide variety of materials and techniques and applies an extensive palette of colors. Marieke captures facial expressions and emotions in the portraits. The eyes speak as if they still have a lot to tell you…. The result: acrylic works that continue to fascinate and inspire!
