His use of color is rich, cheerful, and brightly contrasting. His paintings, drenched in South American colors, seem to dance on the canvas like a salsa.
An artist who switches effortlessly between shocking and calming, and whose exhibitions are told like stories through the colorful brushstrokes on his canvases. “I want people to leave my exhibitions with a mix of amazement and a big grin,” Norbertus declares with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
